Monish joined the firm in 2001 and is a General Partner. Before joining PTV, Monish was a senior consultant with Northstream in Sweden, where he was the initiator of Argnor, a USD 50 million venture fund focussed on wireless investments in the Nordic Countries.

Prior to Northstream, Monish held various international positions with Future Electronics, a global distributor of electronic components. He worked from the London and Singapore office of Future Electronics in sales and management. Monish started his career as a sales engineer with the telecommunication division of Escorts Ltd., in India.

Monish has an MBA from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Information Engineering from City University, London and a BE in Electronic and Communication Engineering from University of Delhi.

He is based in our UK office and currently serves on the board of directors of amBX, Eutechnyx, Intrinsic-ID Palringo and Pulsic.

Rogier Taphoorn, Investment Director, joined Prime Technology Ventures in 2008. Rogier comes with more than 12 years of international experience in investment banking, most recently as Executive Director at Lehman Brothers for the Benelux region. Having worked for Lehman Brothers in both London and Amsterdam, Rogier was involved in many landmark transactions and gained significant experience in mergers & acquisitions and debt / equity financing.

Rogier started his career at MeesPierson and holds a Master degree in Finance from the University of Amsterdam. Rogier has always been a keen tennis player and was Dutch junior tennis champion for a number of years.
 
He serves on the board of directors of priv ID, Civolution, Intrinsic-ID and amBX.
