Intrinsic-ID’s

Quiddicard™ is a set of software libraries that enables the external activation of Quiddikey™ secure key storage (hardware and software) modules. The software runs in an external security device such as a Smart Card, Hardware Security Module (HSM) or on a trusted server.

Quiddicard is available as platform independent software libraries (ANSI-C) such that it is easily ported to different security platforms such as different types of Smart Cards, Hardware Security Modules or Server platforms.

Functionality:

Activation of devices or features, securing the production environment, preventing overproduction, secure key programming

Advantages:

  • Portable software module that can be used on different security devices
  • Anti-Cloning: Device-unique activation codes cannot be copied from one device to the other
  • Secures the production environment

Applications:

  • Secure activation of devices or device features
  • 100% reporting: Counting the number of activated devices to prevent overproduction
  • Production Control: limit the number of devices that can be produced
  • Secure key programming without requiring access to secure non-volatile memory on the target device.
