Quiddikey in Hardware

 

 


Intrinsic-ID’s Quiddikey in Hardware is a key storage product that extracts the key from the unique device fingerprint originating from the deep submicron manufacturing process variations. It is designed to protect a device and its content against counterfeiting and cloning. It is available as RTL silicon IP and can be integrated seamlessly into any chip design.

  • Very secure key storage in a device: the key is not present when the device is powered off

  • Scales very well over all technology nodes, foundries and processes

    • It allows to eliminate on-chip non-volatile memory for key storage
    • It allows secure key storage in small technology nodes (40nm and below) where limited or no embedded non-volatile memory is available
