Intrinsic ID will demonstrate device-to-cloud mutual authentication using SPARTAN™, a digital authentication software module for Internet of Things and embedded applications. SPARTAN adds authentication capabilities to BROADKEY™, Intrinsic ID’s software solution for secure key management, and provides unique, unclonable identities to microcontrollers and other semiconductors, which allows them to connect seamlessly and securely to managed cloud platforms such as AWS IoT. This enables hardware-based security that can be implemented on virtually any CPU without the need for additional hardware such as a secure element or Trusted Platform Module.
